TBH, normally, we would put a spoiler alert right about here. But considering that Spider-Man: No Way Home surpassed Avatar at the box office, it's probably fair to say that almost everyone has seen a Spidey movie. Thanks to the final film in the current Spider-Man trilogy, the iconic series got the multiverse treatment and some familiar faces are now officially a part of the MCU canon. But given how amazing each iteration of Spider-Man has been over the years, you should watch them all anyway.

Of course, there are other new titles like Venom and Morbius and, yes, even non–Peter Parker Spider-Men who have jumped into the mix…so it's safe to say you probably need a little help in figuring out what to watch and in what order. Don't worry, we’ve got you covered!

Here's the best way to watch the Spider-Man movies in order.

Starring Tobey McGuire and Kirsten Dunst, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man is the movie that started it all. It's not the first time that a live-action Spidey was seen onscreen, but it did help kick-start a phenomenon and it became one of the inspirations for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Without this, we wouldn't have all the superheroes we have now (or Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin).

Two words: Alfred. Molina. The actor brought to life one of the biggest Spider-Man villains of all time when he stepped into the shoes metal tentacles of Dr. Otto Octavius, aka Doc Ock. And in a rare move, the sequel has long been considered better than its predecessor, showing that Spider-Man can break through the sophomore slump.

Is it as great as the previous two films? No. But did it still set a standard for Spider-Man? Absolutely. In Spider-Man 3, audiences got to see a darker side of the iconic hero thanks to the introduction of Venom. Everything we knew about Peter Parker was thrown out the window. And while there were a lot of ridiculous moments—like that one meme-able dance scene—it was still a great send-off for Tobey McGuire's Spider-Man.

While fans were hoping for a fourth Raimi film, Sony decided to take things in a whole other direction by rebooting the series with Andrew Garfield behind the mask and Marc Webb behind the camera as director. While the decision was controversial at the time (and Andrew had to deal with his fair share of haters), fans are singing a different tune now as they’ve grown appreciation for this Peter Parker and his love interest Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).

While Jamie Foxx's Electro wasn't exactly what fans were expecting, TASM 2 packed more of an emotional punch in Peter's journey thanks to one big scene involving him and Gwen. It was the big moment fans of Andrew Garfield were waiting for, and it was referenced in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Unfortunately, Andrew never got to complete his trilogy, but with a newfound love surrounding his Spidey, there's a chance we’ll see more of him in the future.

Just when Peter thought he had a handle on things, everything got more complicated thanks to a brand-new foe: Thanos. Working together with the Avengers, Tom's Peter finally became part of the team. But the movie's finale, which involves one of the biggest emotional moments in the MCU between Peter and Tony, is still considered a memorable scene for Marvel fans everywhere.
