The SIHOO Doro
The SIHOO Doro-C300 manages to be both comfortable and flexible, allowing for a good amount of back support, while staying fully breathable.
SIHOO is known for its well-designed and ergonomic office chairs, and the new SIHOO Doro-C300 - releasing June 20, 2023 - is no exception. Its comfortable mesh design makes this chair lightweight, breathable, and a solid addition to any office set-up, with good lumbar support and plenty of adjustments to suit even the most fidgety of sitters.
As a general multipurpose office chair, it does its job well, keeping the sitter comfortable even when spending hours at a desk. It supports the user's weight well and is particularly notable for its flexible design that bends around the person's movements.
The chair arrived with each part individually wrapped and the necessary tools and screws all helpfully labeled on one easy sheet. Extremely well-packaged for travel, with plenty of bubble wrap and extra support padding, there was no doubt that all the parts were protected.
For those less accustomed to putting chairs together, the translated instructions were relatively easy to follow, but definitely could have benefited from a bit more clarity on certain points, such as how to attach the arms to the chassis mechanism. Nevertheless, I was able to assemble the chair in under an hour, although there were certain points when it was difficult to tighten the screws to their full torque.
Top points should be given here to SIHOO's customer service team who answered my (user error-based) assembly question promptly over chat and followed up in an email to ensure I had received their reply.

Overall, the design of the SIHOO Doro-C300 works well. The mesh material is highly breathable, so the user doesn't feel sticky or sweaty if sitting for long periods of time. The white and gray cross-mesh design is attractive and looks modern and sleek; however, if there would be one complaint, it would be about the overall gray color of the plastic parts of the chair.
Solid matte gray can sometimes look a bit bland and the mix of the dark gray armrests and lighter beige gray of the arms and rest of the chair design stops it from looking truly fashionable. It's worth noting, however, that the chair is also available in black, and choosing that color instead would solve this particular small quibble. Color aside, the SIHOO Doro-C300 is visually pleasing to look at with a waterfall design, a curved back with lumbar support, and a bowed seat that looks comfortable before the user even sits down.
The SIHOO Doro-C300 is truly comfortable and stays as such even with hours of use. The flexible and movable design and mesh fabric means that the user doesn't have to worry about the chair feeling gradually harder or more uncomfortable the longer they’re sat in it. Instead, because it's ergonomic and responds to the user's sitting position, it can be used for long periods without any complaint or uncomfortableness seeping in.
Easily rollable and not overly heavy, the SIHOO Doro-C300 can be moved around with ease and is almost fully adjustable to suit each individual's comfort levels. The arms move both perpendicularly and are adjustable in height but unfortunately do have a tendency to struggle in sticking to a certain adjusted position. With a need to get the knack just right for clicking them in place, it's a very small bugbear that only takes seconds to overcome.

The best thing about the SIHOO Doro-C300 has to be its flexibility. No matter what position the user chooses to sit in, it feels as though the chair molds around the body and helps the person feel fully supported. The lumbar support is comfortable and, because it's also made from the same mesh design, it adjusts with the user's sitting position. As such it always provides solid back support without feeling obtrusive in the same way harder lumbar support systems can. The only downside to this is that it doesn't utilize technology that allows you to control how hard or soft you want the lumbar support to be.
The SIHOO Doro-C300 is also fully reclinable with the chassis and back mechanism that allows the user to tilt to an approximate 145-degree angle for at-desk breaks or moments of contemplation. Because of the mesh design of the lumbar support, the user still feels fully supported even when reclining. Plus, the lever, although a little sticky, allows the chair to be locked into any position - upright or on any degree of recline desired.

The headrest is also fully adjustable, although strangely this doesn't always do the full trick in supporting the head fully. In the fully upright, 90-degree angled position, it can take a little maneuvering and trial and error to get the headrest in a position that doesn't feel as though it's either cutting slightly into the person's shoulders or reclined enough that they’re stretching their head in order to rest it on the support. All in all, the head support seems to work best when the chair is reclined as the angles seem to be ever so slightly off for the optimal working position.
Overall, at its price point and with the breathable, lightweight support it offers, the SIHOO Doro-C300 is an excellent chair that is thoroughly recommendable to anyone looking for a new office staple. It will fit any user comfortably with well-balanced ergonomic features that add bells and whistles to the usual adjustment options available.
